I am a French scholar and writer, living in the Netherlands since 2011. I got my doctorate in history from Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in 2002 and have taught in several universities and film schools in Lebanon, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Austria and now the Netherlands.
I also worked at the French embassy in Beirut, was a partner in a film production company based in Paris and contribute regularly to pure-players in France.
Erasmus University Rotterdam employs me full-time as a principal lecturer to teach international communication, intercultural communication, public diplomacy, film studies, and science fiction.
The Clingendael Institute invites me regularly to train diplomats and civil servants. I have run around 70 sessions on Public diplomacy and intercultural communication with more than 60 different nationalities.
I have published books in France and Belgium on my research interests, propaganda and public diplomacy and started a research center dedicated to science fiction, CHIFT.
I regularly give talks about my passions and am lucky enough to have been interviewed in Canada, Belgium, Denmark, France, Greece, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, and the Netherlands.
